Busch Gardens

Busch Garden is an extraordinary African themed park. In one fantastic park it brings together a combination of rides, animals, and shows. The floorless dive coaster, SheiKra takes you 200 feet up, then you come 90 degrees straight down at speeds of up to 70 mph.

Busch Gardens has more roller coasters than any other park in Florida, although most of the parks are trying to catch up. There is the thrilling family roller coaster, Cheetah Chase, with it’ s crazy curves and hairpin turns as well as Montu one of the tallest and longest inverted roller coasters in the world. Screams from this park can be heard some way away!

However with your feet firmly on the ground you can take a self-guided tour around one of the beautiful animal habitats. Jungala, gives you the chance to come face-to-face with some of the world’ s most endangered animals, white tigers and orangutans, as well as two signature rides, including a zip line experience and a 3-storey family climbing area, this is a fabulous part of the park for all the family.

Be sure to take your time as you take a walk through Myombe Reserve because it is here you will see wonderful gorillas and playful chimpanzees in their lush, rainforest habitat. Everyone is invited to experience the stunning Broadway style show, KaTonga a musical celebration of animal folklore told through electrifying dance and puppetry. There is so much to explore and experience for visitors young or old.

Remember to leave yourself plenty of time to enjoy Busch Gardens. Busch Gardens is a big park with lots of attractions and activities to keep you entertained, to do the park justice and see absolutely everything you really need at least one if not two days, especially in peak season. Some people who have travelled from Orlando stay overnight at St Petersburg, Clearwater or the Tampa area so that they can return to Busch Gardens for a second day.
